HP 16GB TouchPad selling for $99 at Best Buy - Clearance Price

Hewlet-Packard's Touch decided to discontinue producing it after, Best Buy and others reported it was not  selling well.  In fact, they wanted  HP to take it back.  HP last week decided to get out of the consumer Tablet,  phone and PC market all together.  The tablet and phone was based on the WebOS operating system purchased for $1.2 billion from Palm. Inc. The TouchPad was discontinued 49 days after its product launch.

So what happens to all those unsold units?  Today, Best Buy online announce a clearance sale for $99.00

Due to HP's decision to discontinue its TouchPad product, Best Buy® will now provide clearance pricing for all TouchPad 16GB and 32GB models (SKUs 2842056, 2842092) regardless of previously advertised prices or promotions.

Best Buy will not accept customer returns or exchanges on clearance-priced TouchPads bought through any Best Buy channel.
